Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished employment law specialist to provide strategic guidance on all matters related to labor regulations and best practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Offer expert counsel on Brazilian employment laws, regulations, and labor practices to ensure compliance and foster positive labor relations.
  • Advise business leaders and HR teams on workforce strategy, policies, and procedures to optimize organizational performance.
  • Lead collective bargaining negotiations with labor unions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and local legislation.
  • Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and employee documentation to minimize risk.
  • Develop and deliver training for management on labor law compliance and collective bargaining strategies to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in labor legislation, proactively advising on potential impacts and strategic responses.
  • Manage employment-related disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with global legal teams to implement company-wide initiatives and harmonize labor practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Law; postgraduate specialization in Employment Law or Labor Relations is highly desirable.
  • Admitted to practice law in Brazil.
  • Strong experience focused exclusively on employment law, preferably within a multinational or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven track record in leading collective bargaining negotiations and union relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation, jurisprudence, and regulatory landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in Portuguese; professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively across diverse teams.
