Job Summary

Pall Corporation, a leading global provider of high-tech filtration, separation, and purification solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Procurement department, this individual will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement process, including requisition analysis, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order placement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials and services.
  • Update internal databases with order information, including dates, suppliers, quantities, and discounts.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support Procurement initiatives.
  • Ensure conformance of suppliers' performances, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate records, including non-disclosure agreements, supplier packages, and supplier registration in SAP.
  • Communicate with internal customers regarding price changes and material availability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering, with a minimum of three years' experience in Procurement activities, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Purchasing capacity for a multinational manufacturing company.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP MM module desired or other ERP.
  • Advanced fluency in English, Spanish desired.
  • Availability for sporadic national travel.
  • Knowledge of taxes and tax law, with ability to make calculations.
  • Knowledge of market research.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data and documentation management experience, including accurate record-keeping of purchasing transactions, contract documents, quotations, and other relevant records.
  • Supplier relationship management experience, including maintaining professional relationships with suppliers, resolving problems, and improving collaboration and purchasing conditions.
