Job Title: Project Associate

Job Description:

As a project associate, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of socio-economic integration projects in Centro-Oeste. Your primary responsibilities will include providing administrative assistance to the Socioeconomic Integration Unit, supporting the coordination with civil society, government, private sector entities, and academic institutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Support administrative tasks related to travel, contracts, purchases, payments, and other activities.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Socioeconomic Integration Unit, including identifying and tracking follow-up actions, administrative and procurement actions, as well as administrative support to meetings, workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and ensure proper information exchange on all operational aspects of the project with the Project Coordinator.
  • Support the implementation of capacity building activities for local stakeholders.
  • Perform various assignments, in collaboration with national counterparts, by planning, organizing, managing logistics, and facilitating different events and activities in their administrative and organizational aspects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience;
  • University degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Economics, Law, Public Policy, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.

Experience:

  • Experience with social and economic integration projects in partnership with government, civil society, UN, or private sector actors;
  • Experience implementing and monitoring social and economic integration projects in partnership with government, civil society, UN, or private sector actors;
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with relevant government counterparts, civil society, international organizations, and private sector entities.

Languages:

  • Portuguese and English (Fluent);
  • Spanish (Advanced).
