About the Role

The role of Quality Coordinator is a critical position in our Minerals & Metals business line, requiring a strong background in quality management and a passion for ensuring compliance with project requirements.

  • Develop and implement quality plans in all phases of the project, including engineering, procurement, and commissioning.
  • Supervise the execution of quality plans and ensure that they are aligned with client requirements.
  • Evaluate suppliers' and contractors' quality programs and documentation, approving inspection plans and certifications.
  • Ensure the application of quality procedures in the field and by contractors.
  • Develop scope and contract third-party inspection services.
  • Coordinate and monitor inspections of materials and services both on-site and at suppliers' facilities.
  • Manage and perform internal and external project audits.
  • Support engineering in defining and reviewing quality requirements and technical deliverables.
  • Lead a team of inspectors and quality engineers.

This role requires a high level of expertise in quality management systems, including ISO 9001. Experience in implementing, maintaining, and certifying quality management systems is highly desirable.

About You
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A specialization in Quality Management is preferred.
  • Professional experience in similar roles and/or leadership positions is essential.
  • Quality Auditor certification is desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations is necessary.
