Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer on the Frontend Infrastructure & Experience team at Braze, you will engage in high-impact projects aimed at enhancing our infrastructure and user experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing a type-safe system for internationalized strings using TypeScript.
- Creating a search functionality that enables users to efficiently locate marketing campaigns, audiences, templates, and more.
- Designing a user-friendly date picker component that prioritizes accessibility and localization.
- Implementing a comprehensive end-to-end testing framework utilizing Cypress.
- Facilitating consensus on improved methods for managing global frontend state through documentation and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Developing tools to scaffold frontend endpoints with type safety, validation, and testing.
Technologies You Will Use
- TypeScript
- React
- Ruby on Rails
Who You Are
- You possess over 5 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of success.
- You are proficient in modern frontend languages and frameworks (TypeScript, React, ES6, Vue, Angular, etc.).
- You have backend development experience.
- You prioritize user experience and have a strong focus on UX design.
- You take pride in writing clean, maintainable code.
- You are comfortable navigating a large frontend codebase with multiple stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building design systems and component libraries.
- Familiarity with localization and accessibility standards.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Knowledge of automated code transformation tools (codemods).
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
