About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Continental Automotive do Brasil Ltda.

This role is focused on managing international trade operations, including import and export processes, ensuring compliance with global regulations and trade laws.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of customs legislation, special trade regimes, and international transportation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the preparation of shipping documentation, customs clearance, and import/export licenses.
  • Negotiate rates and conditions with logistics service providers such as carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
  • Monitor and optimize costs related to international trade, ensuring efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Oversee fiscal and tax processes related to imports and exports, ensuring all legal obligations are met.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and key metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of international trade agreements and special customs regimes, such as drawback and ex-tariff incentives.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with customs processes aligned with the requirements of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) program, promoting efficiency and security in the supply chain.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in international Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing import/export operations and coordinating trade processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Advanced or fluent English (both written and spoken).
  • Proficiency with trade management systems and ERP tools (e.g., SAP or similar).
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary for this position is R$ 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
