Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures by promoting regular quality discussions with production teams.
  • Participate in decision-making processes for corrective and preventive actions within the Production Department. Ensure accurate reporting of non-conformities in processes.
  • Plan, monitor, and evaluate job results; provide coaching and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Manage KPIs related to production lines, participate in productivity meetings, and define actions for underperforming indicators.
  • Guarantee proper use of raw materials and ingredients according to bill of materials, and maintain loss control.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on equipment usage and resource allocation. Implement 5S practices in the shop floor.
  • Ensure health and safety guidelines are implemented and followed within Production. Issue, monitor, and close permits and job safety analyses.
  • Monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products.
  • Maximize equipment utilization, manage material flows, and monitor material orderings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Veterinary, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields.
