Transforming the Power Grid with Innovative Technology

We are seeking a talented Software Developer to join our Grid Automation development team. Our team is dedicated to creating the building blocks for digital transformation in the power grid, focusing on signal digitization, protection, and monitoring.

  • Capture system-level requirements through collaborative brainstorming with firmware developers and configuration tool development teams.
  • Identify project scope, provide initial estimates, and justify them with factual evidence.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Agile software development lifecycle and distinguish core inputs and outputs in each cycle.
  • Engage in technical discussions, participate in design decisions, and present ideas through visual representations.
  • Collaborate closely with peers in a fast-paced technical design and development environment.
  • Execute tasks efficiently to meet product release goals, maintaining code quality through best practices and automation.
  • Deliver high-quality code that meets standards, leveraging selected technologies.
  • Utilize Git, Confluence, Jira, and Jenkins for day-to-day activities.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns, REST architecture, and ASP.NET coding principles.
  • Proficiency with C#, LINQ, .NET, and professional experience with these technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Framework.Net Core, Entity Framework Core, MVC, Blazor Integration, and Data.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Database and unit testing using xUnit.
Desired Characteristics

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Strong knowledge of web development using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
