Medical Nutrition Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) and a strong ability to develop and modify TPN formulas.

• Create customized TPN formulas for new patients based on individual needs.
• Modify existing TPN formulas based on clinical assessments and patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including pharmacists, nurses, and other staff members.
• Educate staff and patients on TPN therapy, providing clear and concise information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Responsibilities:

1. T PN Formula Development: Design and create customized TPN formulas for new patients, taking into account their specific nutritional needs and medical conditions.
2. TPN Formula Modification: Modify existing TPN formulas as needed, based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
3. Collaboration and Education: Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and provide education to staff and patients on TPN therapy.
4. Patient Records: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely access to essential information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field; RD licensure.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of TPN therapy and its applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate diverse audiences.
• Detailed-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving abilities.
