Job Overview

The role of SAP EWM Functional Consultant is instrumental in driving the implementation and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), ensuring optimal performance of logistics processes within a large-scale ERP program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed functional blueprints and technical requirements for SAP EWM solutions related to outbound logistics processes.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout the SAP EWM implementation lifecycle, from design to post-go-live stabilization.
  • Assess business process impacts and identify system gaps, proposing scalable integrated solutions across SAP modules.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and documentation of functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, and business teams to ensure end-to-end alignment and understanding of functional goals.
  • Manage functional specifications and guide the development and testing of technical objects.
  • Participate in quality reviews, escalate critical issues, and ensure service levels are consistently met.
  • Coordinate solution design, data migration, and system configuration tasks with external integration partners.
  • Support deployment activities including mock loads, go-live planning, and hypercare.
  • Ensure compliance with global process standards and drive continuous improvement in solution delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full-cycle SAP EWM implementations and post-go-live support.
  • Deep understanding of SAP EWM design, configuration, and process integration with SAP SD, MM, and 3PL systems.
  • Proven experience in requirement gathering, functional design, gap analysis, and testing.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.
