Job Opportunity

This role entails the creation and implementation of data pipelines in cloud-based environments. The focus is on ensuring high-quality and secure data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines to move and transform data into cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes using tools like Fivetran, Matillion, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Snowflake Dataflow on AWS.
  • Optimizing data storage and retrieval through data partitioning, indexing, and compression strategies.
  • Building and maintaining data processing infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability for analysis and reporting.
  • Managing complex system design, integration, and development.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Implementing security and access controls to protect sensitive data in cloud-based environments.
  • Automating data processing tasks using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies to improve data processing efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience developing, validating, and implementing data warehouses, data systems, or cloud-based data solutions.
  • Experience in data engineering with a focus on data warehousing and legacy systems.
  • Strong understanding of OLAP Cubes, Dimensional model, and database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, HANA, and Snowflake.
