Job Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a globally distributed team that empowers developers and businesses with real-time insights and intelligent applications.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes, architecting and optimizing data warehouse solutions, and implementing data quality frameworks. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and build infrastructure that enables self-service analytics and advanced data exploration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data from various sources.
  • Architect and optimize data warehouse solutions for efficient storage, retrieval, and processing of large-scale datasets.
  • Implement data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and alerting mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and build infrastructure that supports business intelligence initiatives.
  • Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and capacity planning.
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure using cloud platforms and modern data stack tools.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with significant experience building production data pipelines.
  • Expert proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Proficiency in Python or another programming language for data pipeline development.
  • Experience with modern data stack tools and cloud data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
  • Experience working in agile teams with strong communication skills.
