About the Role:
At Amberstudio, we're seeking a highly skilled 3D Artist to create stunning and believable virtual characters for our projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of human and creature anatomy, as well as proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing software.

The Quest:
We're looking for someone who can interpret 2D character concepts and references into high-quality 3D models or sculpts with accurate fidelity to the original design. This includes creating detailed and believable character and creature models, as well as textures and materials that match the artistic style required for any project.

Responsibilities:
* Create 3D models and sculpts with accurate anatomy, proportions, and likeness
* Develop textures and materials that match the artistic style required for any project
* Collaborate with rigging artists to create character rigs that facilitate realistic movement and animation
* Provide support to animators by creating blend shapes, corrective morph targets, and other assets necessary for character animation
* Ensure that character models are optimized for animation performance and efficiency

Requirements:
* Expert understanding of human and creatures anatomy, proportion, silhouette, topology, clothing physics, and construction
* Strong polygonal modeling skills and ability to generate clean, efficient, well-integrated, and leveled models
* Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing software (ZBrush, Maya, 3DS Max, Blender, Substance Painter)
* High degree of self-direction and strong verbal and written communication skills
* 3-5 years of experience in the videogame industry and at least 3 credited games
