Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead comprehensive test strategies, develop and maintain detailed test plans, and implement automated tests for APIs, web, and/or mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute test strategies for functional, non-functional, regression, integration, performance, security testing, etc.
  • Develop and maintain efficient test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Implement and manage automated tests for APIs, web, and/or mobile applications.
  • Perform exploratory and risk-based manual testing when necessary.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other teams to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
  • Identify, document, and track defects clearly and concisely, working with development teams to resolve them.
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
Requirements
  • University degree in computing-related courses such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, and Systems Analysis and Development.
  • Intermediate English language skills with a focus on understanding meetings and technical readings.
  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and principles.
  • Hands-on experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright for web; Appium for mobile; Postman, Rest Assured for API).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and how to integrate automated tests into the pipeline.
  • Analytical skills to identify failures, root causes, and propose solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
