Role Summary:

As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data governance framework for people analytics. This includes ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing and enforcing data quality standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a data governance framework for people analytics, including policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing and enforcing data quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Lead data governance initiatives, including data cataloging, access model, and standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to data stewards and data owners in implementing data governance practices.
  • Drive data literacy and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related role, preferably within the HR or people analytics domain.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, such as SQL, and data governance platforms.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with ambiguity and independence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with HR systems and data, such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements, such as GDPR and CCPA.
