About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in driving the Agile development of custom web applications and leading our team to deliver high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality, helping them to optimize flexibility, creativity, and productivity.
- Help the Agile Delivery Team focus on creating high-value increments that meet the Definition of Done.
- Remove impediments to the Agile Delivery Team's progress, providing guidance, coaching, support, and facilitation as needed.
- Ensure that all Scrum and Agile events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox.
- Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as requested or needed, driving a Continuous Improvement culture in the team.
- Help those outside the Agile Delivery Team understand which of their interactions with the Agile Delivery Team are helpful and which aren't.
- Support the Product Owner in finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
- Help establish empirical product planning for a complex environment.
Key Qualifications and Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a development background.
- 7+ years' total experience in the Software Industry.
- 3 years of Scrum Master experience, 5 years of experience on Agile Delivery Teams, and 2 years of project management experience (preferred).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification with expertise in guiding team and enterprise-level transitions to Scrum.
- Experience with Craft.io or Azure DevOps (ADO) for product management preferred.
- Excellent understanding of agile metrics.
- Experience and ability to develop high-performing teams by promoting and supporting Agile Ways of Working.
- Demonstrated experience in leading Agile teams and related large groups with confidence.
- Expertise in facilitating and driving continuous improvement changes.
- Exceptional facilitation skills.
- Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration at all levels.
