About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Law Enforcement Senior Analyst to join our team at SumUp Inc. as a Fraud Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our law enforcement processes from scratch, ensuring a robust and effective fraud prevention strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a full fraud investigation process in SumUp Brazil, identifying patterns, process gaps, internal fraud, and mapping fraudsters and their relationships.
  • Investigate fraud cases to signal new potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  • Centralize police force investigation and relationships, managing crime reports and possible arrests.
  • Actively participate in the creation and monitoring of indicators related to our products.
  • Participate in forums for product evolution and improvements, providing insights and suggestions from the fraud prevention perspective.
Requirements
  • Experience with fraud investigation within the financial market.
  • Strong process mapping skills.
  • Intermediate English skills.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Knowledge of and/or relationships with market investigations teams.
