Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Provide accurate records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
  • Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns.
  • Ensure payroll is processed with speed and accuracy.
  • Assist with third-party payroll system implementations and upgrades.
  • Work directly with employees to resolve payroll inquiries.
  • Interpret pay policies and ensure accurate calculations and deductions.
  • Ensure company compliance with government-mandated payroll requirements.
  • Stay current with changes in the law.
  • Prepare tax reports and related documentation.
  • Document payroll processes and procedures.
  • Prepare payroll-related journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Experience in IFRS (NIIF).
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in preparing tax reports.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information.
  • Bilingual – English.
