Your Function
As a Legal Counsel, you will be based in Brazil, reporting to the Head of Legal LATAM and working closely with the global legal team. Your role will involve participating in global projects to improve contracts and providing hands-on support to enhance control in local entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in global projects to improve contracts and enhance control in local entities
- Provide technical support to business areas, addressing questions, drafting memorandums, and reviewing agreements
- Manage litigation under the Legal Department's responsibility and handle institutional contracts
- Coordinate internal efforts to obtain evidence and facts to contribute to DLL's defense
- Organize and participate in meetings with employees to clarify facts pertinent to DLL's defense
- Act as DLL's representative in legal actions
- Prepare reports, including in English
- Use Excel and other systems to manage activities
- Review and draft contracts for the purchase of goods, services, and technology
- Review demands and responses with potential legal risk originating from or transmitted via SAC, Ombudsman, RDR, among others
Requirements
