Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Researcher to join our team and help us take our user experience to the next level. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading user research, uncovering actionable insights, and working closely with product managers, designers, and developers to infuse user feedback into our product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead User Research: Conduct a mix of interviews, surveys, usability tests, and ethnographic studies to gain a deep understanding of our users' needs and behaviors.
- Uncover Actionable Insights: Analyze research findings to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure that user feedback is incorporated into our product.
- Craft User Personas and Journey Maps: Develop user personas and journey maps to visualize user experiences and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest UX research trends in the fitness tech industry.
- Be the Voice of the User: Ensure that our product is user-centered and meets the needs of our users.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in UX, with part or all of it focused on UX research, and a proven track record of impacting product design.
- Skills: Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
