Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing tech solutions, discussing non-functional requirements, proposing new tools or ways to achieve goals, creating technical documentation, and assessing new solutions for maintainability. You'll also develop metrics, alerts, and system dashboards using metric systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient tech solutions
  • Discuss non-functional requirements and propose new tools or ways to achieve goals
  • Create technical documentation and assess new solutions for maintainability
  • Develop metrics, alerts, and system dashboards using metric systems
  • Assist and share knowledge with younger team members and improve technical excellence
  • Autonomously develop complex solutions and lead initiatives that involve bugfixing, creating and maintaining integration tests, creating and maintaining unit tests, creating API endpoints, creating new backend services, entities, repositories, etc.
  • Autonomously analyze huge volumes of data and logs, take part in complex issue investigations, and recognize if the system is performing as expected
Requirements
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented languages, with a focus on Java
  • Solid knowledge of software engineering concepts
  • Solid knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases
  • Basic knowledge in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • English fluency is not required, but you should feel comfortable participating in meetings
  • Ability to work with remote and international teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and objectively
  • Experience with Prometheus, Kibana, and/or Graphana is a plus
