Purchase Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Procurement Specialist.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement expert to utilize their expertise in sourcing and supply chain management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing sourcing and purchasing of inventory items for projects, including monitoring volume, pricing, and vendor schedules.
• Processing purchase requisitions: negotiating prices, lead times, terms, placing orders, confirming delivery dates, and updating internal customers.
• Managing international orders and deliveries.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and leverage opportunities.
• Preparing and presenting reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with strategic vendors, negotiating contracts, prices, and terms for cost-effectiveness and reliability. Additionally, they will assist in developing the supply base through supplier selection, performance monitoring, and relationship building.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the equipment manufacturing industry.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Experience with ERP systems.

Detailed knowledge of sheet metal is desirable but not required.
