Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Linux System Administrator to join our Site Availability and Site Reliability teams. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our hosting infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Monitoring
    • Monitor product infrastructure issues with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Graylog.
    • Respond to product infrastructure alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance
    • Perform regular product infrastructure maintenance, debugging, enhancing, and development tasks.
    • Document actions to ensure repeatable processes and automation.
  • Automation and Development
    • Optimize and implement automation on multiple projects with Ansible.
    • Develop new services and improve current services using Python, Bash, or other suitable tools.

Requirements

  • Linux System Administration
    • Experience with Linux system administration and a passion for monitoring-driven operations.
  • Technical Skills
    • Practical knowledge of using bash commands to debug logs, service outputs, and network/firewall issues.
    • Scripting skills with Python, PHP, Bash, Go, or other programming languages.
  • Soft Skills
    • Team player mindset with a go-for-it attitude and ability to collaborate and communicate asynchronously.
