DATA Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled DATA Architect & Governance Specialist to join our team at 696 GlaxoSmithKline Mexico S.A. de C.V. as a Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to lead key activities and progress your career in a dynamic and innovative environment.

• Act as a trusted advisor and single point of contact for DATA & Governance related topics in the area of responsibility.
• Capture business requirements and translate these into DATA needs.
• Collaborate with commercial teams from Regional and Global Tech in the deployment of technological strategies.
• Accountable for the implementation of GSK technology project portfolio: DATA Governance, DATA Architect using Microsoft Platforms (Data Lake, Power APPs, Power BI, Azure) Collaboration Tools and others to communicate value to business.
• Provide support and consultancy to Mexico teams on DATA topics.
• Maintain Data Bases clean and according to GSK Governance guidelines.
• Ensure Business continuity and Governance with the GSK Applications in the area of responsibility.
• Manage the service life cycle management of the GSK applications (Including SLA) as well as the architecture among them.
• Act as a technological enabler with business challenges to offer new and fast solutions to solve a problem.
• Lead the continues improvement in Application services through simplification, risk reduction, user experience or cost reduction.
• Manage relationships and networks with key stakeholders within Tech and Business leads as well as escalations and complaints with regards to application service processes.
• Prepare and conduct management presentations.

• University degree (Bachelor) in computer science, statistical, actuary.
• Post Education in DATA, DATA Architect & Scientist, DATA Governance.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• 3+ years of work experience in DATA Architecture & Governance ideally business partner.
• Solid Technical experience in platform Architecture Microsoft AZURE & Databases.
• Experienced in project and change management.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented person with strong initiative skills.
• Ability to collaborate and negotiate effectively.
• Conceptual and technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Master's degree in technological area, DATA Science.
• Microsoft platforms certifications.
