Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage millions of daily connections with readers and viewers across online platforms to deliver reliable, scalable streaming solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with analysts, data scientists, and developers across departments throughout the entire organization.
  • Design and build cloud-based data pipelines, both batch and streaming, and their underlying infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience implementing highly available and scalable big data solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Scala, Python, or shell scripting, specifically in the context of streaming data workflows.
  • Extensive experience with streaming technologies to challenge existing setups.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Full understanding of modern software engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Domain-driven design.
  • DevOps mindset.
  • AWS certification or willingness to achieve within 6 months.
  • Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for teamwork and techniques like pair programming.
