Geophysicist Role Overview

We seek a skilled geophysicist to provide technical support for innovative solutions and partner products. Our cutting-edge technology in Earth sciences enables sustainable development of critical mineral resources, infrastructure design, and renewable energy sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customers during trial and post-purchase phases to maximise solution value.
  • Conduct user interactions through face-to-face conversations, telephone, and email to resolve issues effectively.
  • Proactively contact users to identify additional support, training, or sales opportunities.
  • Act as regional technical advocate for our Geophysics portfolio across all market sectors.
  • Support local sales teams with product demonstrations, understanding customer needs, and developing implementation plans.
  • Identify new influencers and decision-makers within customer organisations.
  • Provide feedback to software development teams to enhance product functionality.
  • Deliver training to new customers and integrate our solutions into their workflows.
  • Mentor the technical customer solutions team to build confidence in training situations.
  • Closely work with marketing specialists to represent data management solutions in regional marketing activities.
  • Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and work to improve outcomes.
  • Assist and support all product upgrades, new releases, and new products.
Requirements
  • Degree in Geophysics.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in geophysics and related disciplines.
  • Experience in geoscience software solutions, ideally including our solutions (Oasis Montaj, Res2Dinv/Res3Dinv, Workbench).
  • Confident oral and written communication skills in English and fluent Portuguese or Spanish;
  • Understanding of cultural differences' influence on business relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain sustainable working relationships.
  • Proven team player with conflict management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage workload effectively, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
