Manufacturing Operations Director

This is a full-time, onsite role at our facility.
About the RoleAs a Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining on-time deliveries, high quality, and improving production efficiencies through comprehensive resource planning, lean manufacturing techniques, and disciplined production processes. Your goal will be to achieve low-cost producer status while maintaining total customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Manage manufacturing output, including adjusting staffing and equipment to ensure manufacturing projects start and stay on schedule.
- Manage all activities performed by manufacturing personnel while maintaining a high degree of visibility and access to staff throughout shifts.
- Continuously evaluate manufacturing operations to determine improvements through effective metrics, capital, personnel, and operational standards.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement (CI) in all that is done.
- Coordinate with Quality Control to maintain quality standards while taking appropriate corrective action measures to resolve deficiencies.
- Take an active role in people development, including developing next-line leadership.
- Enforce all safety policies and ensure all manufacturing staff attends required safety training.
- Resolve manufacturing-related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
- 3-5 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with capacity planning, from a people and equipment perspective.
- Able to train and motivate employees to create quality products, increase KPIs, and grow profitability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and planning skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk as required.
- Must be able to lift 50lb.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
