Role Summary

The primary responsibility of the Senior Unified Communications Consultant is to deliver architectural and infrastructural support to our telecommunications team. This position is tailored for a technically proficient individual who possesses a comprehensive skill set across a variety of technologies beyond just Unified Communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and management of Stefanini's Unified Communications environment.
• Collaborate with vendors, clients, and technical teams to optimize and secure Unified Communications systems.
• Facilitate the migration of CUCM to the Cisco Webex Calling platform.
• Install and manage Cisco CUBE SBCs for SIP Trunking.
• Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades on all UC infrastructure, ensuring detailed documentation is maintained.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance collaboration experiences.
• Present Unified Communications technology strategies to clients and management.
• Develop technical standards and operational processes for UC infrastructure.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for improving customer experiences.
• Manage performance metrics and incident responses for critical UC issues.
• Perform security assessments of UC infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with established design and programming standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
• Expertise in Cisco Unified Communications infrastructure, including CUCM, CUC, SME, and IMP.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Dial Plan design and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Cisco Webex and Webex Calling platforms.
• Proficient in Cisco Voice Gateways, CUBE, and relevant protocols.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent documentation skills, including system design and network diagrams.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
• Understanding of Change Management and ITIL methodologies.
• Knowledge of networking technologies and vendor support processes.
• Familiarity with Python programming and SQL queries is a plus.
