Job Description:
The Process Optimization Specialist will be responsible for analyzing existing processes and methods, developing new processes, and proposing improvements to reduce costs and ensure quality.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct studies, research, and planning to develop efficient methods and processes;
- Develop projects and specifications for manufacturing new products, utilizing specialized software;
- Establish work plans and procedures for production, including instruction manuals and inspection plans;
- Provide training to team members to ensure process repetition and quality control.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Metalurgy or Mechanical Engineering;
- Green Belt certification in Six Sigma;
- Experience in a similar function;
- Intermediate level English proficiency;
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology, technical drawing interpretation, trigonometric calculations, foundry rejects, and metrology.
