Senior Node.js Developer Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join our innovation team and work on a project in the pharmaceutical sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js, designing and building efficient, reusable, and reliable code, and collaborating with front-end developers and product teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
  2. Design and build efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  3. Create and optimize APIs for scalability and performance.
  4. Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
  5. Implement data storage solutions, including databases, key-value stores, and other back-end services.
  6. Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  7. Ensure high code quality through automated testing and code reviews.
  8. Monitor and optimize the performance and security of the application.
  9. Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
  10. Stay updated with the latest developments in Node.js and back-end technologies.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Back-End Developer with a strong focus on Node.js.
  2. Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful APIs.
  3. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  4. Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  5. Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
  7. Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  8. Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT) and security best practices.
  9. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  10. Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Vitest.
  11. Intermediate English Level.

  1. Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
