Embedded IoT Sales and Strategic Account Development Role

This is an exciting sales opportunity that requires a strong work ethic, ambition, and focus. As a prospecting sales professional, you will be responsible for opening up new business opportunities with various levels of an organization, specifically targeting departments that develop embedded software and IoT devices.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel regionally for client engagement, industry conferences, and internationally for company events twice a year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and Executing a Territory Plan: Develop and implement a territory plan to prioritize leading security-focused brands and manufacturers.
  • Working with Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our brand and increase market awareness in prioritized accounts.
  • Developing Pipeline: Establish and nurture relationships through outreach, prospecting, local marketing, and industry events to drive revenue growth.
  • Closing Contracts: Meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings targets by effectively managing customer relationships and closing contracts.
  • Managing Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Collaborating with Field Engineers: Work closely with IoT Field Engineers to understand customer requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining Data Accuracy: Ensure accurate data and forecasts within Salesforce to inform business decisions.
  • Establishing Productive Relationships: Foster professional relationships with key influencers and decision-makers to drive business success.
Requirements
  • Exceptional academic track record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in field sales, particularly in embedded Linux, embedded software, or enterprise software.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and large account wins.
  • Passion for technology and willingness to continuously learn and improve.
  • Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events and up to 50% for customer meetings and industry events.
