Job Title: Business Consultant II

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Consultant II to join our team at CSG. As a Business Consultant II, you will play a critical role in providing process and solution overview knowledge to pre-sales teams, assisting with customer RFPs and system demonstrations, and ensuring the technical viability of solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide process and solution overview knowledge to pre-sales teams in the pre-project phase.
  2. Assist pre-sales teams with customer RFPs and system demonstrations.
  3. Ensure the technical viability of solutions as defined in the statement of work and subsequent change requests.
  4. Define solutions that match client needs.
  5. Assess customer needs and provide consultation and solutions to improve business efficiencies.
  6. Guide project teams through project implementation and testing of system requirements.
  7. Review test plans to ensure coverage of system requirements.
  8. Manage specification studies in multiple areas and phases, using a team of consultants.
  9. Be the primary contact point for client business interests and manage issue resolution.
  10. Communicate with product management and R&D on issue clarifications and functional improvements.
  11. Deliver feedback to product management to ensure future releases meet client needs.
  12. Provide leadership to project teams and clients on market and regulatory changes and future product directions.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
  2. +8 years of experience as a business/software consultant in IT/telecommunications, with experience in project delivery and implementation of standard package products and Telecom BSS/OSS solutions.
  3. +5 years of experience with implementation of CSG Interconnect core (ICT) or Wholesale domain experience.
  4. Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in a business environment.
  5. Excellent knowledge of integrated DW solutions and expertise in several products or modules.
  6. Knowledge of the system and ability to suggest product management for optimized features with less customization.
  7. Telecommunication industry knowledge, including carrier business operations and telecom network architecture.
  8. Competency in SQL language in Oracle, including writing SQL DML queries, functions, and package development.
  9. Competency in Oracle APEX and Unix/Linux command line.
