Data Engineering Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for threat intelligence ingestion, validation, and export automation flows.

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for ingesting threat intelligence data from various sources into our data ecosystem. It also requires implementing data validation processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

The successful candidate will collaborate with threat analysts to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions. They will also develop automation scripts and workflows for data export processes to external systems or partners.

In addition, they will optimize and enhance existing data pipelines for improved performance and scalability. This includes monitoring data pipelines and troubleshooting issues as they arise, ensuring continuous data availability and integrity.

The Data Engineer will document technical specifications, data flows, and procedures for data pipeline maintenance and support. They will stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and incorporate them into our data ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on data ingest, validation, and export automation. They should possess strong proficiency in Python and experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or similar.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is required. The candidate should also have experience with data validation techniques and tools for ensuring data quality.

Experience building and deploying images using containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is essential. The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are necessary. We offer competitive salary and benefits package for this full-time position.

  • Proven experience in data engineering, particularly in data ingest, validation, and export automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming language.
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Apache NiFi.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Snowflake or AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
