The role of Senior Communications Lead, Corporate and Policy Communications LATAM is pivotal in helping protect and defend our reputation in the region while providing expert comms consultancy to regional policy and business teams.

This position requires confidence in working under pressure with tight deadlines and explaining complex issues in simple ways. The successful candidate must develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice across the region while adapting messaging to market nuances.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Advising the LATAM Policy team on policy comms ideas and strategies
  • Cascading global and regional policy updates to the team
  • Supporting policy comms strategies for local regulatory and litigation updates
  • Developing content and messaging around key issues such as over-tourism and housing
  • Reviewing external-facing policy-related press materials
  • Implementing strategies to educate internal and external stakeholders about our global policy narrative
  • Collaborating with global campaign strategists and regional Communications leads to localize the narrative

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 12+ years of experience in communications/public affairs
  • A proven track record leading Corporate and Policy communications initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of Latin America's media environment and political landscape
  • Excellent writing skills and fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
  • Passion for our mission
