As a Remote Ad Optimization Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to improve ad optimization practices and increase revenue for premium publishers. You will be responsible for reviewing and assessing current ad setups, identifying opportunities for revenue lift, and implementing data-driven strategies to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess current ad setup and identify opportunities for revenue lift.
  • Welcome new publishers via onboarding calls to understand business objectives and draft timelines for success.
  • Set up the entire ad stack in Google Ad Manager based on priorities where publishers can benefit the most.
  • Configure, test, and debug header bids for errors and anomalies occurring during ad calls.
  • Perform daily ad quality checks to monitor unfilled and ad render behaviors.
  • Analyze publisher performance daily for dips and upticks in key metrics such as CPM, Page RPM, Session RPM, ads per page, and other indicators to address them immediately.
  • Audit all demand stack partners - Google AdSense, Ad Exchange, Header Bid Partners, and third-party demand sources to ensure all impressions are accounted for.
  • Test out new technologies developed and provide feedback on their impact to performance.
  • Research different strategies that can be used to further improve publisher performance.
  • Proactively present ideas to the publisher and collaborate with them on how these ideas can further help them achieve their goals.
  • Test different approaches in ad optimization and stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments and advertising news that may affect the publisher.
  • Schedule regular monthly or quarterly updates to discuss performance and share new technologies recently developed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Exemplify a strong analytical mindset with an understanding of statistical theories and principles.
  • Be proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets, and possess excellent data presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate superb attention to detail and a keen eye for numbers, monitoring, and crushing targets.
  • Showcase critical thinking skills and tech-savviness.
  • Possess effective communication skills in both written and verbal mediums.
  • Have experience working with client relations or customer service.
  • Be knowledgeable about the different Google ad platforms and how they work.
  • Understand how website ad monetization works.
  • Thrives in a dynamic workplace and adapts to constant change in the ad tech industry.
  • A self-starter and a sponge for new learnings.
  • Flexible to varying work schedules and able to work under pressure while maintaining positivity.
  • Fluently speak English and Portuguese.

  • Extensive knowledge of Google policies and other platforms.
  • At least one year of experience in Programmatic sell-side or related work.
