Senior Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional professional to fill the role of Senior Infrastructure Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise in infrastructure management.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in z/OS and z Storage support in mainframe environments, Cloud Infrastructure, and Network technologies. You will have the chance to collaborate with a global team of experts and contribute to shaping the future of our organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support using problem determination and source identification skills;
  • Collaborate with other teams to prioritize and diagnose problems to resolution;
  • Analyze and recommend optimization and automation of technical support tools, procedures, and processes;
  • Develop and deliver training programs for colleagues on infrastructure management best practices;
Required Technical Expertise
  • Extensive knowledge of z/OS and z Storage support in mainframe environments;
  • Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and network technology deployment;
  • Ability to solve complex problems and demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
  • Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in REXX programming language;
  • Familiarity with Ansible automation tool on Mainframe;
  • Knowledge of Zowe, ZOAU, and R3S platforms;
  • Experience with zOS Middleware (DB2, IMS) or Base/Storage/TWS/Network/Netview systems management/support;
  • Basic understanding of container technology and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
