AgileEngine is a high-growth enterprise software company in the life insurance space. We're looking for talented Software Engineers to work remotely as key members of our engineering team.

Job Overview

This is your opportunity to make a large impact at a high-growth enterprise software company. You'll collaborate with other developers and a product manager to build software in support of a suite of business applications and their worldwide delivery teams, all of whom count on a high-performance, reliable, extensible backend.

Responsibilities
  • Develop features that optimize Sureify's main platform;
  • Evaluate and document existing integrations;
  • Work with CI / CD / IaC;
  • Write clear technical documentation;
  • Work in a Dedicated Agile Delivery environment;
  • Work in a remote environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • 8+ years of experience writing production-quality code, ideally on core software product development (not only professional services or implementation projects);
  • Strong proficiency with React and solid experience with NodeJS;
  • Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices in frontend architecture;
  • Experience with Test Driven Development;
  • Experience designing and building scalable, enterprise-grade cloud-native applications;
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL;
  • Familiarity with integrating 3rd party APIs (REST, XML, JSON);
  • Exposure to Cloud services and DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Redis, Kubernetes);
  • Upper-Intermediate English level.
