Role Overview
The selected professional will be responsible for efficiently executing a variety of tasks to a high-quality standard and assisting on a diverse range of projects of varying scales and complexities.
This role involves managing commissions of different sizes, depending on project intricacies. The individual may work as part of a larger team or serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with clients.
The Senior Engineer - Electrical will be tasked with assessing electromechanical and specialized installations to ensure compliance with technical specifications and national regulations. Responsibilities include preparing and overseeing reports, monitoring contractor qualifications, and recommending improvement strategies, while being actively involved in daily site supervision.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in a role coordinating MEP design and construction.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Automation Systems.
- Experience in commissioning is essential.
- PMI certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with LEED projects is a plus.
- Proficient in English to effectively lead project team meetings, produce written communications, minutes, and reports, and facilitate client meetings.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM is required.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
