Job Title: Senior System Administrator

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to drive the scale, security and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of AWS, Terraform and cloud automation.

This role requires hands-on experience with services like Amazon FSx, Amazon WorkSpaces and Amazon Q Business. You will be instrumental in designing, automating, monitoring and enforcing Zero Trust security using tools like Spacelift, Zabbix, Zscaler and Checkpoint CloudGuard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance and manage AWS infrastructure, including core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC) and enterprise solutions such as Amazon FSx (Windows file storage), Amazon WorkSpaces (virtual desktops) and Amazon Q Business (AI-powered knowledge search).
  • Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, orchestrating deployments and policy enforcement using Spacelift or equivalent.
  • Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) using Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA) for secure remote access.
  • Enforce cloud security practices through Checkpoint CloudGuard, covering workload protection and compliance.
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to manage infrastructure code via GitHub, focusing on stability, peer review and traceability.
  • Automate routine processes and improve system efficiency through scripting.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of production-level experience managing AWS infrastructure.
  • Expertise in Terraform, with a proven track record of managing infrastructure via code.
  • Experience with Spacelift or equivalent tools for Terraform deployment pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of Zscaler (ZTNA) or equivalent and Checkpoint CloudGuard or equivalent for security and access control.
  • Skilled in using GitHub for code versioning, collaboration and review workflows.
  • Competence in scripting and automation using Bash, Python or similar languages.
