Electrical Distribution Project Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead distribution projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, including scope development, project team management, project execution, closeout, quality control, schedule management, and budget oversight.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, technicians, and administrative staff to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk management approaches to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify project requirements, develop solutions, and execute projects efficiently.
  • Perform quality assurance and control activities to ensure compliance with HDR's Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, business administration).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical distribution project management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

  • This position is responsible for managing overhead and/or underground distribution line projects in the local region and beyond.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
