As a Pre-Engineered Install Technician, you will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and installing fire protection equipment, including pre-engineered kitchen systems, spray booths, and off-road systems, following NFPA and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut, thread, and groove pipe to ensure system integrity.
  • Install conduit and run stainless steel cable to facilitate communication between components.
  • Install, program, and test fire suppression panels to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Lay out system installations per manufacturer's guidelines to meet safety standards.
  • Read, research, and identify project needs prior to job start to prevent delays.
  • Interpret vendor manuals, blueprints, and work orders for successful installations.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for efficient installations.
  • Complete and record information onto field reports to track progress.
  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty installations to maintain system reliability.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma is required; industry experience is preferred for advanced knowledge.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within Pennsylvania.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial for accurate work.
  • The ability to read blueprints and communicate effectively is essential.
  • Familiarity with fire codes and sprinkler systems is necessary.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various conditions, including heights and adverse weather, is required.
