Department Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Vigilant System Solutions team as a Mid-Level Developer. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design and develop high-quality Android and iOS apps for public safety and security systems.

As part of this role, you will work closely with product management to plan and design new products and features. This includes releasing high-quality software through collaborative efforts with UXs, QAs, and POs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with product management to drive product innovation and development.
  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality software for our customers by working across disciplines with UXs, QAs, and POs.
  • Design and implement unit tests, automated UI tests, and execute test cases to ensure top-notch product quality.
  • Develop and integrate backend services to deliver secure, fast, and scalable mobile user experiences.
  • Embody standard coding best practices, identify optimal solutions for complex scenarios, and maintain exceptional standards of quality in your own work and peers' work.
  • Collaborate with other team members in an agile environment, research new technologies, and contribute to innovation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Advanced English level, proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, technical mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude, receptive to instruction and direction.
  • 5+ years of experience in SW Development, 3+ years of experience building native or cross-platform apps for Android and iOS.
  • Proficient in Flutter (preferred), experience with core technologies like Swift, Kotlin, Dart, C++, Angular, and third-party libraries and APIs.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale mobile app solutions, thorough knowledge of mobile app deployment, familiarity with modern mobile and frontend build pipelines and tools, and experience building efficient user interfaces to a specification.
