Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced residential setting.

Your primary duties will include:

• Completing the admission process for consumers, including nursing assessments, medical checklists, and medication administration records.
• Providing direct nursing care, as indicated by individual consumer needs.
• Transcribing and administering medications, monitoring staff compliance with safe medication practices.
• Documenting observations, interactions, and interventions in consumer records.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you should have:

• A current LPN license to practice in the state of Alabama.
• Experience working in a mental health setting, preferably with adults.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and psychiatric care principles.
