Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to work as a Consultant for a large US-based Insurance client out of our Brazilian Office. A successful candidate in this role will be a capable individual contributor, able to plan and build software systems and maintain the existing codebase. The team will interact regularly and directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders in the client organization.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# programming. You will be working on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using MVC architecture and React components, and collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Must-Have Skills:
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile work environment
  • Proficiency in .NET Framework/.NET Core and C# programming
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC for web application development
  • Experience with React.js and modern JavaScript ES6+
  • Proficient in SQL Server, including query optimization and database design
  • Knowledge of dependency injection patterns and IoC containers
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Experience in insurance domain or financial services industry in a consulting capacity
  • Experience with Entity Framework
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and deployment strategies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jest)
