Job Title: Warehouse Operator I

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse activities, operating machinery such as screw conveyors, welding equipment, blowers, grain vacuums, jet washers, and others.
  • Monitor daily grain quantities processed and maintain accurate records.
  • Clean and maintain warehouse machinery, ensuring proper function.
  • Pre-clean grains to remove impurities for reuse in animal feed or shielding.
  • Fetch wood from storage and stack it properly to supply furnaces, maintaining set temperatures.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment to prepare the warehouse for the next harvest.
  • Operate machines like hoppers, conveyors, and elevators for grain reception and silo removal.
  • Transport grains with belt and roller machines to silos.
  • Fill grain shipment boxes for truck loading.
  • Record daily activities and grain processed in the Work Order.

Maintenance and Housekeeping:

  • Check machines for wear, lubricate, clean, and request external maintenance when needed.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics and maintenance procedures.
