Tax Compliance and Reporting Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance and Reporting expert to join our Finance team in São Paulo, Brazil. As a Tax Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance obligations related to Direct and indirect taxes within the Brazil Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare all Tax Reporting Calculations under US GAAP & Local GAAP, including Tax Budgeting, Tax Accounting, Effective Tax Estimations, and Tax Cash Flow visibility.
  • Assist and support other tax roles of Area Tax, such as Tax Planning, US Tax Reporting, and Audit team, providing information, performing tax calculations, and integrations necessary for effective decision-making.
  • Support and coordinate the tax compliance local team, providing Tax Advisory within the Brazil operations and supporting Planning Ideas to the team.
  • Prepare and coordinate with Tax, Finance, and Accounting Brazil teams, the timely and accurately Reporting Tax, such as Effective Tax rates (ETR), Deferred Taxes, Tax accounting, Tax Reporting templates (TRT) & Tax packages.
  • Interact with the Tax Compliance Team to assure an adequate monthly Tax Accounting booking, analyzing monthly balances to provide visibility to Tax Managers and assuring proper and standard booking rules to efficient Tax Reporting TRT's and Budgeting Processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting related field, with previous experience in the area.
  • At least 5 years of tax and accounting work experience, out of which 4 years minimum of tax experience.
  • Proficient PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills, decision-making, risk-taking, project leadership, organization skills, and results-oriented.
  • Conversational English skill and intermediate Spanish would be a plus.
