Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven and guest-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach housekeeping team members to ensure exceptional guest service and high-quality standards.
  • Audit work of room attendants and house persons to ensure consistency with Fairmont standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness of guest corridors, rooms, and other areas of the hotel.
  • Proactively identify potential operational concerns and implement solutions to maintain high service levels.
  • Demonstrate Fairmont core values in all interactions.
  • Manage room attendants' performance, including annual performance reviews.
  • Assist in preparing preventive housekeeping maintenance reports and analyses.
  • Promptly respond to guest complaints and ensure follow-up activities occur.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all corporate, hotel, and departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required; hospitality degree is an asset.
  • At least 2 years housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment required.
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience is preferred; basic training skills are required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience with Property Manager and Microsoft Office suite of programs is an asset.
