Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Role

As a senior cloud infrastructure engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions using Terraform across AWS and Azure.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Implement Scalable Infrastructure: Utilize Terraform to create and manage infrastructure resources, ensuring efficient deployment and scalability of cloud-based systems.
  • Support CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with development teams to optimize and automate Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Bamboo, and Ansible.
  • Manage and Deploy Infrastructure as Code: Leverage Terraform to maintain and deploy infrastructure configurations, promoting consistency and reducing errors.
  • Kubernetes Cluster Management: Oversee the management and support of Kubernetes clusters across environments, ensuring seamless operations and high availability.
  • Automation and Tooling Development: Develop automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Python, PowerShell, YAML, and JavaScript to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth delivery and effective communication using Azure DevOps and Bitbucket.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and deployments, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Scripting and Configuration Best Practices: Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented configurations and scripts, adhering to industry best practices and DevSecOps standards.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Bamboo, for pipelines, repos, deployments, and GitOps workflows.
  • Comfortable with Ansible, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript.
  • Strong command of writing and debugging YAML-based configurations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Terraform.
  • Experience with Helm, Docker, or service mesh tools.
  • Experience integrating security and compliance into pipelines (DevSecOps).
