Senior Shopify Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Shopify developer to join our organization. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot critical issues on Shopify;\
  • Engage with Product Management and business partners on system capability, design, and solutions;\
  • Work with Development to ensure technical requirements, best practices, performance, and security;\
  • Support Project Management with effort estimates, planning, and removing technical roadblocks;\
  • Develop key system components, identify reusable modules, and optimize delivery time;\
  • Research platform capabilities and opportunities for the eCommerce roadmap;\
  • Perform code analysis, develop patches, and implement new platform features;\
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and technical validation of updates;\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products;\
  • Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring scalability and reliability;\
  • Analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions;\
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify developments, technologies, and industry trends;\
  • Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.\
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies;\
  • Experience with front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow;\
  • Knowledge of page performance optimization and secure development practices;\
  • Proficiency in core JavaScript (or a popular variant) and front-end frameworks;\
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail;\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\
  • Additional qualifications include Salesforce Cloud experience and proficiency in multiple programming languages.\
