Cloud Architect Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to enhance our software development and deployment processes. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with developers and system administrators to design optimal architectures that support high availability and scalability for a critical government project.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of complex systems and large databases in high-availability production environments.
  • Define processing environments, containers, and database architecture.
  • Leverage Linux expertise and microservices-oriented architecture principles.
  • Implement cloud architecture and work with relational (SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Contribute to backend and frontend programming in JavaScript, including integration using Node.js and React.
  • Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins.
  • Integrate applications and technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, and API management.
  • Utilize version control systems such as GIT and GitHub for code management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Specialist in system development projects.
  • University or tertiary degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Linux environments and cloud architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL database engines.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Familiarity with programming in JavaScript, including backend and frontend integration.
  • Hands-on experience with GIT and GitHub.
